Herose Limited Receives ISO 9001 quality approval !
As with all our products supplied – quality is a main concern of Herose Limited. With this in mind we applied for ISO 9001 quality approval for all our internal systems. It is with great pleasure that we can announce we received full approval; this encompasses all of our special services which are detailed in later sections of our web site. By achieving this standard we are proud that our internal order control, returns procedures, sales quotations and general administration is proven to be of a high and recognised standard. The product we supply is of the highest quality standards, but an outstanding product can be let down greatly should the service from your supplier be neglected, we focus strongly on this area of our business to try and ensure we always work closely with our customers from time of order placed to final delivery. Our ISO approval is one of many accreditations we can count in a long list of globally recognised standards, we worry about quality – so you don’t have to.

Type 0642X safety valve - We can do things differently, and quietly !
With previously used safety valves protecting fixed cold gas vaporizers against heat expansion, the full-lift opening characteristic causes sudden opening even with purely thermal expansion. This process causes a loud noise, which can (in some cases) cause problems, where noise is a concern. There are often complaints from the inhabitants of neighboring residential areas and hospitals, as well as from the drivers of cryo-trailers, who can sometimes be shocked by the loud bang. We at Herose are always striving to work with customers and resolve issues like this ! To complement the previous type 06388/06418, HEROSE has developed the 0642X safety valve, which initially opens proportionally up to a thermal expansion of 11kg/day, and only open completely if there is a larger discharge volume. At HEROSE, this is referred to as "quiet opening". The 0642X series is available in the nominal diameters G1/2" to G 11/4". The flow diameter of 14 mm and 18 mm can be used for pressures up to 40 bar, and the flow diameters 7 mm and 10.5 mm are even approved up to 50 bar.
In contrast to the tried and tested design of the 06388/06148 type (PTFE plate sealing into a taper), the plate of the 0642X series is made of PCTFE and seals flat. The conversion from taper sealing to flat sealing is due to the normal stroke opening characteristics, and the PCTFE material is necessary in order for the flat-sealing plate to be used at triggering pressures of 40 or 50 bar.
